DESCRIPTION

The African continent is faced with a lot of challenges in the transport sector. These challenges hinder the free movement of goods and services across the continent. As a result, development in many parts of the continent have stagnated. It is believed that improvement in the transport sector will greatly contribute to development in the continent.

The MSc. Transport Management and Leadership programme is designed to develop students’ abilities to initiate and undertake research in the areas of transport policy, planning and management.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must possess:

  • A minimum of Second Class Upper Division degree or its equivalent in a relevant Engineering, Management, Planning, or related discipline from a recognized university.
  • At least five (5) years of relevant working experience in the transport sector.
  • A current Curriculum Vitae (CV).
  • Evidence of technical and managerial experience in the transport sector.
  • A recommendation from their employer.
  • Successful performance in a selection interview.

International applicants whose first language is not English must provide evidence of English language proficiency, such as IELTS, TOEFL, proof of prior degree instruction in English, or other recognized qualifications.
